About

Genevieve Morton is a globally recognized South African model, entrepreneur, and digital media innovator. She made history in 2010 as the first South African model to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, subsequently gracing its pages for six consecutive years through 2015. In 2014, Sports Illustrated honored her as one of the “Top 50 Swimsuit Models of All Time.”

Born in Benoni, South Africa, Genevieve launched her modeling career in Cape Town before moving to New York City in 2009, where she signed with IMG Models. Her striking presence has led to features on the covers of Esquire, GQ, FHM, and multiple editions of Sports Illustrated. In 2012, FHM named her the “Sexiest Woman in the World.”

Genevieve’s versatility has attracted collaborations with top brands such as Frye Boots, J.C. Penney, Kohl’s, Aerie, and Panache Lingerie. Notably, she became the face of Maserati’s international campaign for the Ghibli model in 2015 and 2016.

Raised in South Africa by a terminally ill mother, Genevieve developed a strong work ethic early on and a passion for working with charitable causes including Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Autism Speaks, Sex Trafficking Awareness 18 For 18, and the Challenge Athletes Fund.  Genevieve held her first job at 16 and became keenly interested in entrepreneurship.  When she moved to Los Angeles, the modeling industry was changing as publications were closing and social media platforms were on the rise.  Genevieve transitioned seamlessly from modeling with traditional publications to working with brands across  various social media platforms.

Recognizing the shifting landscape of the modeling industry, Genevieve founded Morton Media Management in Los Angeles. This venture empowers models, photographers, and artists to take control of their digital presence. The company specializes in creating monetizable digital media projects, collectable merchandise, fine art prints, calendars, etc.  Genevieve has produced digital television series in collaboration with Future Media that have garnered over 1.5 million views.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Genevieve is a certified Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute. She is dedicated to supporting young individuals coping with the loss of a parent, pet, or loved one. Her philanthropic efforts extend to organizations such as Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Autism Speaks, Sex Trafficking Awareness 18 For 18, and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

With a global social media following exceeding 3 million, Genevieve continues to inspire audiences worldwide
